Hands-On Help: Oklahoma City Public Schools hosts enrollment event

Oklahoma City Public Schools is hosting a districtwide enrollment event on Tuesday to get students ready for the upcoming school year.

Starting at 4:30 p.m., each school in the district will be open for in-person enrollment to both new and returning families.

The district says staff members will be on hand to assist.

New students will need to provide age verification, a recent transcript, immunization records and special education records if necessary.

Returning students will need proof of address, immunization records, and current custody documentation if necessary.

Additionally, students entering the 7th grade are required to show proof of a recent Tdap vaccination.

Schools will be open until 7 p.m.
