Former OKC martial arts instructor faces sentencing for lewd acts with minor

A former Oklahoma City martial arts instructor is scheduled to be sentenced on Wednesday after he was found guilty of lewd or indecent acts to a child.

Joseph Schubert, 22, was accused of molesting one of his students in April 2023.

A jury recommended that Schubert serve 25 years in prison.

Schubert's formal sentencing is set for 3 p.m.
