Road closures planned in Oklahoma City for Memorial Marathon weekend

As 25,000 runners gear up for the 2025 Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, road closures are anticipated across Oklahoma City, Nichols Hills and The Village. Find out more about routes and timings.

25,000 runners are expected in Downtown Oklahoma City this weekend for the 2025 Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon.

Although the events start at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and finish at Scissortail Park in downtown, the 26.2-mile marathon course spans a large portion of Oklahoma City, Nichols Hills and The Village

Saturday’s runs include a 5K, Senior Marathon and Kids Marathon, with the first of those events starting at 7 a.m. and lasting a few hours. Sunday’s full, half and quarter marathons start at 6:30 a.m. and will last into the afternoon.

Road closures are planned along all courses for runners’ safety on Saturday and Sunday.
