Deer Creek to host ribbon cutting event for new elementary school

New Knight Ridge Elementary School in Deer Creek set to open doors in August 2025 – get a sneak peek at the innovative learning spaces on April 24th.

Deer Creek Public Schools announced it will celebrate the completion of its newest elementary school with a ribbon cutting and open house event.

Knight Ridge Elementary is the district’s sixth elementary school. It was funded through a 2022 bond initiative supported by the Deer Creek community.

The ribbon cutting will take place from 5 pm. to 6 p.m. on April 24th. Afterwards, future students, staff and community members can tour the building.

The school is located at 14401 N Council Road. Parking will be available next door at Heritage Baptist Church.

Deer Creek says the new campus will help keep class sizes small and provide innovative learning spaces.

The school will open in August 2025.
