Honks & Horns Car Show benefiting Norman North kicks off May 3rd

Funding for the arts in schools is always dwindling, but community members and events like Honks & Horns step in to fill the gaps.

On today's Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch, the crew hosts Honks & Horns Committee Member and Band Mom Phaedra Zortman to chat about their upcoming Car Show and fundraiser.

The third annual Honks & Horns fundraiser event will take place May 3 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. which is free to attend.

"Antique cars, classic cars. We've got hot-rods, we've got boosted trucks, lifted trucks, slam trucks," Zortman said. "We've got all kinds of stuff."

Car enthusiasts and community supporters are encouraged to come out and attend the event which is helping raise funds for the Norman North Highschool band.
