The University of Central Oklahoma says it appears that international students who had their visas revoked earlier this month have been reinstated.
This comes as the federal government reverses the termination of legal status for international students across the U.S., following numerous court challenges to the Trump administration's crackdown.
On April 28, UCO confirmed that up to four international students had their visas revoked.
In a statement, a UCO spokesperson said,
“I can confirm that it appears some of the students impacted have had their visas reinstated. Due to FERPA provisions regarding the privacy of student records and the fact that communication about visa status is sent directly to students, we can’t provide further details.”
