Severe storms rolled across eastern Oklahoma early Friday morning, triggering multiple tornado warnings, causing wind damage and flooding, and knocking out power across the region.
Storm trackers reported possible tornadoes, including one near Peggs and another near Sallisaw. In Sequoyah County, trees were downed and damage was reported after a possible tornado moved through the area.
Power outages impacted several counties, including Kay, Noble, Payne, Osage, Pawnee, Creek, Rogers and Wagoner. Wind gusts over 60 mph and hail up to the size of golf balls were also reported.
In the Tulsa area, heavy rain led to street flooding in several intersections. Vehicles were stalled in high water near 43rd and Sheridan, as well as 43rd and Memorial.
News On 6 will have crews in various areas throughout the day to survey damage.
