News On 6 Ron Morton has been fascinated by storms and tornados since witnessing his first tornado in May of 1982. Too young to drive, he made his father follow it. Soon after turning around to do so, a second tornado appeared behind them. The thrill of witnessing his second tornado in a matter of seconds had him hooked on storm chasing.

News On 6 Bob Rohloff was raised in Michigan and moved to Tulsa in 1982 to join the Tulsa Police Department. He grew up with an interest in weather, but his interest grew more after becoming a police officer. Bob started storm tracking in 2003. As an officer, Bob would help alert others to tornadoes. The 1993 Catoosa tornado made a big impact on Bob’s life. He was a first responder to help several people that were affected by the storm.

News On 6 Brandon is an Oklahoma native, born and raised in Tulsa. He attributes his love of weather to his father, Chris, as well as to Jim Giles and Travis Meyer's weather camps that came to his school at a young age.

News On 6 Sequoyah is a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation. He grew up in Oklahoma and saw his first tornado at 8 years old, which piqued his interest in weather. Sequoyah has been a storm tracker for 25+ years, seeing his fair share of weather – floods, tornadoes, ice storms and blizzards.

News On 6 Kevin is an Oklahoma native, having been born and raised in Coweta. He got his love of weather from his dad, Tom, who was a police officer and emergency management director. His dad would often take him outside and show him the different clouds and storm structures as severe weather came in.
