A man was found dead early Friday after an apparent hit-and-run crash in Ninnekah, troopers said. 

One person is dead after a crash Wednesday morning on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike, troopers said.

Areas in southwest Oklahoma were among those hit hardest by Friday's storms. 

At least two tornadoes have been confirmed to have touched down during Friday's round of severe weather. 

Storm season has started but the tornado sirens in Ninnekah have been on the fritz for months.
