Woman Arrested In Bartlesville Deadly Stabbing

Police have taken a woman into custody after a fatal stabbing in Bartlesville Sunday afternoon.

Officers were called to a home in the 1400 block of South Hickory at 2:30 p.m. about a stabbing.  When police arrived, they found a 47-year-old man suffering from a knife wound.  He was taken to the Bartlesville hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police Captain Jay Hastings says it appears the stabbing occurred during an argument between the victim and his girlfriend.

He says the woman and victim's name have not been released pending notification of next of kin.
