Oklahoma prison officials say an inmate is on the loose after escaping from the Oklahoma State Reformatory in Granite.
Officials said Sunday that 45-year-old James C. Mapp had escaped from the southwestern Oklahoma prison. Mapp was convicted of drug and burglary offenses in Lincoln County.
Mapp was described as about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 200 pounds. Officials say he has sandy hair and hazel eyes.
Authorities say Mapp also has multiple tattoos including flames on the side of his eyes, and mushrooms, mouth and pills on his neck.
Details of the escape were not immediately available. Police have not released where they think Mapp may be headed.
