Investigators claim she was tortured and killed, and her body found dismembered. Nineteen-year-old Carina Saunders quickly became a poster child for human trafficking in Oklahoma.

The theory has never been proven true, but that's not stopping an out-of-state organization from making the false claims and much more to seemingly profit from her visibility.

Carina Saunders' murder has yet to be solved, but the gruesome details are well-known. Her body was found dismembered and discarded in duffel bags nearly two years ago.

Now, a Florida-based non-profit, Out of the Life Inc., is apparently trying to cash in on her notoriety, but with little regard for the facts.

"That's her picture. You can't change that, I know my daughter," Richard Saunders said while watching a video produced by the anti-human trafficking organization.

Out of the Life claims to save women from sexual exploitation, but Saunders questions that after seeing his daughter portrayed as prostitute who overdosed instead of a murder victim.

Watch the organization's video using Carina Saunders' photo and false information.

"They are not saving anybody but themselves," Richard Saunders said.

In the video, his daughter Carina Saunders is portrayed as a girl named "Asia" who had dreams of being a graphic designer until she got caught up the in the sex trade. The fabricated story also shows her to be a prostitute who overdosed on painkillers in a hotel room.

"It's hard enough to deal with the face that she is gone and then you are going to have people sit there and write lies about her," Saunders said. He wants to know why they are using his daughter's picture without his permission.

Out of the Life apparently crafted the story to raise money for its operation. The video is linked to gofundme.com, an online donation site, despite the fact Florida's Department of State records show Out of the Life is not an active non-profit organization.

Still, Richard Saunders hopes somehow they will get his message.

"The exploitation of my daughter is wrong," he said.

Right now, state investigators are requesting that Florida authorities look into the matter. It is possible the group could be in trouble for soliciting money under false pretenses.
