STILLWATER, Oklahoma – The Cowboys picked up their second Big 12 series sweep on Sunday with a 7-1 win against Texas Tech at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

Home field advantage has been kind to Oklahoma State this year, with both of those sweeps coming at home to help bolster a 19-3 record in Stillwater.

OSU has won four straight and moved to 22-17 overall on the season.

While the Cowboy bats went to work, Randy McCurry held things down on the mound, throwing 7.2 innings and allowing one run and four hits. McCurry was also 2-of-3 at the plate.

The Cowboys didn't waste time getting on the board in the first inning as Jarrett Higgins scored on a wild pitch.

Tech's only run of the day came in the third when Mason Randolph came home on a passed ball to knot the score.

But in the bottom of the same inning, Robbie Rea posted an RBI, bringing home McCurry and giving Oklahoma State the lead for good.

OSU's biggest production came in the fourth when the Cowboys managed three runs on four hits.

Hunter Bailey was 3-for-3 in the game with a career-high four RBIs in the game.

The Cowboys will host Oklahoma on Tuesday night in a non-conference Bedlam matchup. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
