High pressure will bring dry conditions to the Northeast on Tuesday. A low pressure system will produce plenty of rain across the mid-Atlantic region, with showers and thunderstorms over the Southeast and the lower Mississippi River Valley. This system will also produce some freezing rain and snow over the Ohio Valley and central Appalachians. A storm system will
spread rain and snow into the Pacific Northwest, with scattered snow showers over the Rockies. The Southwest will have partly cloudy skies.
