Both the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) and Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) have confirmed to News 9 that crews have found partial skeletal remains in a remote area approximately two miles north of Weatherford. Information gathered in a 14-month investigation into Wilson's disappearance led them to the area.
Authorities have not confirmed at this time if the skeletal remains belong to Wilson. They will wait for the State Medical Examiner's Office to identify the remains.
This investigation is a joint effort between OSBI, OBN, Custer County Sheriff, Custer County District Attorney and the Attorney General Office.
