FBI agents and Norman police are searching for a man dressed as a woman who robbed a bank in Norman, Friday afternoon.
Just after 12 p.m. Friday, a man dressed as a woman walked into the Arvest Bank at 1355 W. Lindsey, and approached the teller counter. The man gave the teller a note saying he had a gun and demanding money. However, no weapon was seen during the incident.
The teller complied with the man's demand. The suspect placed an undisclosed amount of money in a burgundy handbag. He then left the bank and was last seen heading east on foot.
The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-30's, who stands 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 175 to 195 pounds. He had a thin build and was wearing a gray and turquoise sweater and blue jeans.
Agents say the suspect was wearing a shoulder length blonde wig, red lipstick, bright orange or pink running shoes, and sunglasses. He was carrying a burgundy handbag.

The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank.
No one inside the bank was injured during the robbery.
A text alert was sent to Norman Public School parents alerting them of the robbery. The text reads that the schools are not on lockdown. The students at schools in the area were brought in from recess.
On Friday, September 21, a woman attempted to rob the same bank. She did not obtain any money during the incident. Police are still searching for that woman.
