Tulsa Police released the names of two women found dead at the Westminster Apartments Sunday. Homicide Sergeant Dave Walker said the women are identified as Amber Collins and Pricila Ochoa.

Rolando Morales is facing two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths.

Walker said Morales knew Collins from the adult entertainment club Night Trips. Morales held a Cinco de Mayo party at his apartment and the two women were attending.

Collins asked Morales’ kids to get some more liquor, which made Morales angry and that started an argument.

“He was upset that his children were put in a position to give an adult an alcoholic beverage,” Walker said.

Walker said Collins went upstairs and her argument with Morales continued.

The sergeant said Morales had a gun safe filled with numerous weapons, including rifles, handguns and shotguns. The suspect got a shotgun out and waved it around the party, so people started to leave.

A tattoo artist who was at the party and gave Collins a tattoo told police he gathered up his family to leave and was headed out when he heard gunshots.

The women’s bodies were discovered at the complex near 51st and Memorial after police said Morales sent photos of the victims to his estranged wife.

“He calls her and tells her to come and pick up the children, I’ve done something bad, or horrible, or however he explains it,” Walker said.

The women were found in the bathroom and had been shot, Walker said.

He also said there had been some “attempts” to dismember the bodies, but Walker said Morales didn’t get very far with that.

“He had a machete and I think that’s what he was going to use to dismember the bodies,” Walker said. “His claims of being able to kill people, and dismember them and dispose of them was proved from this case that that’s not true.”

Instead, police said Morales set Collins’ rental car on fire to hide the fact that she was there for the party.

"Only he knows what he was thinking, but his vehicle was also found two blocks away from his apartment, so he's obviously thinking that he's got to do something," Walker said.

The sergeant said Morales initially claimed to have killed 17-18 people, including two in Tulsa, but then recanted.

The shooting deaths are Tulsa's 12th and 13th homicide of the year.
