For the third day in a row, classes are canceled at Oologah-Talala Public Schools. The reason: the district says utility workers are still having issues with a broken gas line.
The school reported the leak late Sunday and told parents and students classes would be canceled. On Monday, the district posted on the Oologah Upper Elementary Facebook page that the gas line had been fixed.
However, Oklahoma Natural Gas would still have to check everything out to make sure it was safe for students to come back.
It appears that there are still some issues, and school district will remain closed until they're resolved.
They think they have the issue resolved, and ONG will test again Wednesday morning.
