A prison inmate escaped from a work detail in Muskogee on Tuesday.
The man's name is Douglas Wilson. He is American Indian male who's six feet tall and weighs 165 pounds.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, he has a long list of convictions dating back to 1988 including drug and burglary offenses, but also many escapes.
He was serving a 10-year term at the J. H. Lilley Correctional Facility in Boley, beginning in August of 2014, for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, endangering others while eluding police, concealing stolen property out of Kay County.
He was also serving a 5-year term for aggravated DUI out of Tulsa County that began in December of 2014.
