An Oklahoma prison escapee was captured near Joplin, Missouri Monday.
Alvin Boyer was arrested in Newton County.
He escaped on October 26, from the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center in McAlester.
Boyer is serving time for Ottawa County charges of drug violations and jumping bail.
