Emily Baucum

Emily Baucum joined the News On 6 team in March 2011 as a general assignment reporter. She's thrilled to have the opportunity to tell the many diverse stories here in Green Country.

Baucum earned a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, along with a second major in political science. Her career began behind the camera as a freelance field producer for CNN's Chicago Bureau. She has also reported for CBS affiliates in both Springfield, Missouri and Lansing, Michigan.
