Another round of severe weather rolled across northeastern Oklahoma overnight, creating an impressive lightning show.
Our Storm Warn chasers were out watching the weather as well. They say there was an awesome display of electrical power of the storms as they rumbled over the area. Those storms also brought with them plenty of wind and heavy rains.
The sound of chainsaws could be heard overnight in Tulsa. A 50-foot Cottonwood tree blew over around 1:30 AM on Skelly Drive. It took out part of a fence, and blocked Skelly Drive between Harvard and Yale. City crews were called in to cut up the tree and clear the road.
AEP reports about 2,400 customers without power this morning.
