Amazon's new fulfillment center is now open.

The 600,000 square foot location will employ about 1,500 full-time associates, and Amazon says it will continue hiring for those positions the next few weeks.

Hiring events and interviews are by appointment only with open positions being posted every Friday until each position is filled. Amazon says the 1,500 workers will pick, pack, and ship smaller items to customers around the country.

In addition to the new Tulsa facility, Amazon also has two new delivery stations in Oklahoma City. Amazon says those new stations will create hundreds of full-time and part-time jobs in the OKC area.

If you live in the Tulsa area and need to find a job, Amazon says it's currently taking applications. To learn more about current openings or to apply for a position, click here.
