Police are patrolling school zones again as more Tulsa area schools head back to class.
Officers said they just want to do what they can to keep students who walk to in-person learning safe.
Even with more people working from home, Broken Arrow police said they are still seeing an issue of speeding in school zones.
Broken Arrow Police Officer Chris Walker said, "we believe it's because a mix of in-person learning and distance learning, and people aren't seeing the kids in there, so they're ignoring the lights."
They said drivers are typically speeding more in the morning.
