Two more victims have come forward to accuse an Inola pastor of molesting them.
Rogers County Deputies arrested Roy Shoop in May and at the time, he was charged with molesting three girls under the age of 16.
They said there are now five victims from three different states, who all have almost the exact same story.
Two additional charges have been filed against Shoop in addition to the eight charges he was already facing. Deputies said all five girls said they were either working at Shoop's farm or taking horse riding lesson from him when they said he molested them.
"It ranged from 12 years up to 18 years old and spanning over eight years.” Said Sgt. Bo Williams with the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office. “All their stories are similar and alike and location."
Shoop is the pastor at Cowboy Gatherin' Church.
Documents said 12, 13 and 15-year-old girls came forward earlier this year, saying Shoop sexually assaulted them. Sergeant Williams has worked the case from the beginning and said he believes all five girls were groomed.
"Kidding and joking, subtle touches. Stuff like that,” said Williams. “There were statements made that 'oh that's just Roy being handsy."
Deputies said they interviewed Shoop at the beginning of the investigation, and he denied all the allegations.
"It’s pretty hard to imagine that they could fabricate stories, that all have common denominators in them,” said Rogers County Sheriff Scott Walton. “One of those victims made it known that he apologized to her and told her he was a man of God and shouldn't have done those things, after the act was already completed."
Sheriff Walton said the last thing they want to do is ruin man's life, if he is innocent.
"If somebody just thinks we are on a witch hunt for Roy Shoop, that's very very false,” said Sheriff Walton. “We've got what I believe to be a predator in our community that goes through a church to make victims. That ought to be a concern to anybody there."
Investigators said they believe there are more victims. They said if you are a victim call the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office at 918-341-3535. News On 6 has called Shoop's attorney but still haven't heard back.
