Two brothers are in jail accused of shooting and killing a man during a shootout at a Tulsa apartment complex. Police say the shooting was all over a girl.
Gabriel and Jayden Hopson are no strangers to being in trouble with the law. Both Gabriel and Jayden Hopson have been arrested and convicted in the past for illegally having guns.
Gabriel was released from prison last April and has been arrested twice since for having guns. Jayden was given a two year suspended sentence just last month. Now, they are both in jail for murder.

While police were investigating a man who had been shot in the arm, they learned about another man who had been shot and killed.
Detectives found Eric Graves dead at the Wedgewood apartments, with nearly 30 shell casings around him.
"It appears to be mostly about a girl. It appears that there were people that were romantic rivals that decided to air it out with guns,” said Lt. Brandon Watkins with Tulsa Police Homicide.
An affidavit says the brothers had planned to ambush the victim.
Witnesses told investigators the victim and the Hopson’s started shooting at each other and Graves was killed.
"It's just one of those things. Yeah it is frustrating. We would like to see people who are dangerous, who have had guns, who have a propensity to do stuff with those guns, it can only be called stupid. You'd like to see them locked up for a long time but it doesn't always happen,” said Watkins.
Lieutenant Watkins gives a lot of credit for helping get the brothers in custody.
"They're fantastic. They jumped on this. They've been working with the victims family, the Hopson's,” said Watkins.
Detectives have now made arrests in all 10 homicides this year.
