The federal murder trial of former Tulsa police officer Shannon Kepler moves into its third day on Thursday. It will be Kepler's fifth time going to trial for the case but his first time in federal court.
Currently, Kepler is accused of shooting and killing his daughter's teenage friend, Jeremy Lake, in 2014.

Lisa Kepler, one of 12 witnesses called to the stand on Wednesday, testified that she loves her father and forgives him.
Other witnesses on Wednesday included the forensic pathologist who performed the autopsy on Jeremy Lake and Lake's friend who witnessed the shooting.

Lake's friend testified that he was at a home with Lake and Lisa Kepler when he saw a black SUV drive up before Lake was shot twice. He also testified the person in the SUV fired three more rounds towards the house.
Kepler's daughter testified that she saw her father in the black SUV at the scene, talked to him, then walked away and heard three gunshots. She said when she looked back, Lake fell to the ground and the SUV drove off.
The trial is set to pick back up at 9 a.m. on Thursday.
