An Oklahoma pilot was taken to the hospital after crashing his plane at the Tahlequah Municipal Airport.
This happened Friday morning.
The Tahlequah Fire Department said the pilot is from Skiatook and was on his way back from Vinita.
They think he was trying to stop for fuel when the plane crashed and landed upside down.
Chief Casey Baker said "according to the airport manager and some of the local pilots that were here talking, it looked like he might have come in a little bit too hot and went to hit his brakes and [with] the plane kind of being front heavy anyways, it flipped over on it's top."
The pilot was flown to a Tulsa hospital with head and neck injuries.
OHP has not identified him.
