Oklahomans in the hospital will soon be allowed to have a family member or loved one with them.
Governor Kevin Stitt signed the No Patient Left Behind Act into law Tuesday.
Many hospitals banned visitors during the pandemic. The law states that a person can designate one person to be with them.
It’s possible a medical center may require certain things like personal protective equipment.
The law goes into effect November 1.
