The Catoosa City council voted to deny a proposal to allow a new medical marijuana processing business in the city.

Catoosa residents filled the council chambers Monday evening to speak against the proposal.

They expressed concerns over the smells and noise from the facility.

However, the business owner says the facility would only process what's called "live resin," which doesn't produce an odor.

The city voted against the proposal.
