Teacher Arrested After Being Accused Of Inappropriate Relationship With Student

An Edison Middle School math teacher is in jail, accused of sex crimes with children in Kansas.

Tulsa's fugitive squad arrested Christin Covel on Tuesday.

Sources tell News On 6 she had an inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old student in Sedgwick County, Kansas, which is where Wichita is located.

Edison's principal says there aren't any reports of inappropriate behavior from Covel during her time here.
