News On 6 Thanks Healthcare Workers

News On 6 is saying thank you to healthcare workers this week for all their hard work during the pandemic.

On February 9, we gave out Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and Merritt's cookies at Saint Francis Muskogee.

Healthcare workers said they've been stressed dealing with the additional workload, on top of staff shortages.

Despite the stress, they say they've had great patients and a lot of support from the community.

"It does mean a lot, because we don't think about others thinking about what all all of us are experiencing at the time, and it just means a lot to all of us," said Brandy Jones, St. Francis Muskogee.

Jones said she's lucky to have such a great team to work with.
