Tulsa police say a man is in custody after he started a fire on his ex-girlfriend's front porch and threatened her with a knife.

According to police, Jeffery Ford showed up at the victim's house Friday night and started banging on the door.

The victim told police Ford then threatened to shoot her in the face and kill her.

Officers say they found evidence of a fire on the victim's front porch and fire damage to the front door.

Police arrested Ford on complaints of first-degree arson and threatening a violent act.

Police say Ford is a convicted felon for assault with a deadly weapon and kidnapping.
