State's Pardon And Parole Board Announces Clemency Hearing Dates For 6 Death Row Inmates

Oklahoma's Pardon and Parole Board announced clemency hearing dates for six death row inmates later this year.

According to the board's website, the dates and times will be as follows: Jason Coddington (July 26), Richard Glossip (Aug. 10), Benjamin Cole (Sept. 27), Richard Fairchild (Oct. 12), John Hanson (Nov. 9) and Scott Eizember (Dec. 9).

All hearings will be held at 9 a.m. at the Kate Barnard Community Corrections Center in Oklahoma City.

The board's announcement a month after state attorney general John O'Connor requested execution dates for 25 death row inmates, which include Coddington, Glossip, Cole, Fairchild, Hanson and Eizember.

Execution dates for all six men were released by the state's court of appeals earlier this month. Coddington's execution date will be the first of the six. It is expected to take place on Aug. 25.
