Tornado Damages Osage SkyNews 6

Osage Skynews 6 was damaged during Wednesday night's severe weather.

It was in a hangar in Shawnee when the tornado came through and sustained major damage. News On 6 is working to obtain a rental helicopter to ensure we can still provide aerial coverage. The helicopter pilot at our sister station in Oklahoma City was also caught up in the storm.

A large hailstone damaged the windshield but the crew was able to land safely.
