Sister Helen Prejean Discusses Richard Glossip Case

Oklahoma Death row inmate Richard Glossip is set to be executed on May 18 despite unprecedented support from Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond.

Several state leaders said Glossip did not receive a fair trial, but the Pardon and Parole Board denied Glossip clemency last week.

That's why anti-death penalty activist Sister Helen Prejean is in Oklahoma City.

Prejean was portrayed by Susan Sarandon in the movie “Dead Man Walking" and she has long been a vocal opponent of the death penalty, counseling everyone from politicians to Popes on the topic.
