Bartlesville Police have identified the suspect they say gunned down a 16-year-old boy earlier this week.
Police say Bryson Towers shot Markus Scott multiple times Monday night and left him for dead near Highway 60 and Frank Phillips Boulevard.
Towers was arrested in Coffeyville, Kansas and is awaiting extradition back to Oklahoma.

The teenage boy who was shot and killed Monday night in Bartlesville has been identified by police.
Bartlesville Police confirmed Markus Stephen Scott, 16, was discovered along Highway 60 and State Highway 123 at 9:39 p.m.
Police said Scott appeared to have been shot multiple times.
A suspect in the shooting was located in Coffeyville, Kansas, and arrested by Coffeyville Police on unrelated charges, Bartlesville Police said.
Bartlesville Police said he was the driver of the vehicle that Scott was in. That driver had not been identified.
Now, police are asking surrounding businesses and any witnesses to contact authorities with any information they have.
"BPD investigators have worked around the clock to investigate this matter and to secure evidence that will result in the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this crime," said Police Chief Kevin Ickleberry. "This investigation is ongoing, and we will release more information as soon as it becomes available."
