Glacier Chocolate In Tulsa Introduces Caramel Apple Cups To Celebrate Cozy Fall Flavors

Pumpkin, apple, and caramel are considered the flavors of fall.

Coffee shops craft seasonal drinks, and now a Tulsa chocolate shop is getting in on the fun.

“Everybody loves caramel, and everybody loves apples, so we were like let's do a caramel apple chocolate cup,” said co-owner of Glacier Chocolate, Katie Hutto.

The chocolate shop is calling them “Caramel Apple Melt Cups.”

“We have a cup filled with sliced green apples, and then you can cover it with caramel only if you want, but we can also add chocolate,” said Hutto.

The idea was inspired by its summertime treat, “Strawberry Melt Cups” which debuted in June.

“Everyone has been asking for caramel apples, and it is kind of hard to maintain a long shelf life for those,” said Hutto.

To satisfy the customer's sweet tooth, Glacier Chocolate came up with this simple creation that uses its own signature caramel and milk or dark chocolate. The Caramel Apple Melt Cups can also be covered in your favorite toppings.

“We have four different toppings available: toffee, Oreos, peanuts, and pecans,” Hutto added.

The treat will only be served Thursday through Sunday until Halloween and can be found at both Glacier Chocolate locations in Whitefish.

Glacier Chocolate is located at 1902 Utica Square and 10051 S Yale Ave Suite 103 in South Tulsa.
