Fantasy Football is all about strategy. If you are bummed out by your teams' performance in Week 1, let it go and get to work. The waiver wire is your best friend. This is your opportunity to remake your roster each week as you battle it out in your league.

Remember, it's a long road and every decision you make moving forward will define your season.

Here are a few individuals you need to keep an eye on during your waiver wire search.

Jordan Mason, 49ers. Monday Night Football set the fantasy world on fire last night when Christian McCaffery missed the Jets game with Achilles tendinitis. Mason is in his 3rd year going undrafted out of Georgia Tech. 147 yards and a touchdown later, Mason solidified himself as a major asset in the Shanahan system. Look for McCaffrey to miss several weeks.

Alexander Mattison, Raiders. Mattison was able to take advantage of his opportunity after Zamir White struggled early. Mattison played 35 snaps to 23 for White, while finishing with 62 yards with 9 touches. Keep an eye on this situation with the Raiders continuing to struggle.

Rashid Shaheed, Saints. 5 catches for 73 yards and a touchdown. Tread lightly here if you pick him up. He is a big play threat and lacks real consistency, but a nice player to have for flex or and off week.

Baker Mayfield, Buccaneers. 289 yards and four touchdowns. He has the weapons to do this each week. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Rachaad White could place Baker back in the top 10 of fantasy performers. I was surprised that Baker was only drafted in less than 50% of leagues. Could be a week-to-week situation with Baker and the matchup.

Derek Carr, Saints. I know, I know. It's Derek Carr and he played the Panthers. Carr did something in week 1 that he only did three times last year. He threw for three touchdowns and completed over 80% of his passes. He has a new offensive coordinator and a rookie in Spencer Rattler behind him giving him a little push. Competition can bring out the best sometimes. Add in Rashid Shaheed that we talked about earlier and watch out. He's available in a ton of leagues. Of course, he could always revert back to being Derek Carr.

Good luck in Week 2.
