Thriller In 3A: Holland Hall Edges Out Checotah, 33-32

Let’s go to Class 3A: Checotah at Holland Hall.

We pick it up in the second half with Checotah leading 14-13. QB Trey Burleson lays one out deep, and Kainon Gibson is wide open with room. He takes it in, putting Holland Hall on top 19-13.

Now Checotah, as freshman Cole Rolland fires, and—oops!—Kainon Gibson again comes up with it, giving the ball back to Holland Hall.

Later, back to the Wildcats, and this time Rolland finds his man, Elijah Thomas, who makes the catch and carry to tie the game for Checotah.

What a game! Holland Hall wins it 33-32.
