The female suspect wanted by the US Marshals is now in custody, authorities say.

Sonya David was arrested overnight after a shooting involving the US Marshals during a search warrant near Pine and Harvard on Friday.

They said something happened that led the Marshals to shoot at David, who then drove away and was on the run. She was found at a nearby homeless camp.

David was convicted of DUI and child endangerment in 2018 and has since failed to show up for court several times.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the shooting.

US Marshals confirmed that they were attempting to serve a warrant for Sonya David. She was wanted for child endangerment, DUI, and more. Marshals fired shots at David, who then drove off. Several law enforcement agencies are now looking for her.

No marshals were injured during the incident. It is unclear if David was injured during the shooting.

David is believed to be driving a 2009 Black Honda Accord with license plate #PID-530. If you see David do not approach and call 911.

US Marshals are offering $5,000 for information leading to her arrest.
