5 Sent To Hospital In Crash Near 21st And Yorktown

Five people were sent to the hospital after Tulsa firefighters said a man having a diabetic emergency hit an ambulance and four other cars.

Tulsa fire said the man was driving east near 21st and Yorktown when he suffered the medical emergency.

Authorities said he swerved and hit the five vehicles, including the ambulance. The ambulance driver had to be extricated.

So far, it appear none of the injuries are life-threatening.

Traffic appears to be moving, but slowdowns are expected until the scene clears.
