Today's Taste Test Tuesday features a holiday favorite for Valentine's Day. Candace Conley from The Girl Can Cook shows us how to make Boozy Chocolate Dipped Strawberries. Check out her website at TheGirlCanCook.com.
Ingredients
- 12 large fresh strawberries with leaves
- 1 lb bittersweet chocolate chips
- Small package white chocolate chips
- ½ cup liqueur (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Rinse strawberries and dry thoroughly.
- Step 2: If you are using the liqueur, fill a marinade injector and inject about 1 tsp of liqueur into each berry. Place them on a baking sheet until chocolate is ready.
- Step 3: In a metal bowl over a pan of simmering water, melt chocolate chips. Stir occasionally until melted and smooth.
- Step 4: Dip strawberries into chocolate and let the excess drip off into the bowl before placing on parchment paper to set. Drizzle with white chocolate to decorate
