In a historic moment for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, Ryan Schoppe and Madalyn Harper claimed victory in the inaugural Quarter Marathon men's and women's races held on Sunday.

The 6.55-mile race, introduced to commemorate the marathon’s 25th anniversary, began at the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum and concluded at Scissortail Park, weaving through Automobile Alley and historic neighborhoods.
