Tulsa’s 2025 Water Quality Report confirms that the city’s drinking water continues to meet or exceed all federal and state health standards, providing safe and clean water to residents across the region.
The annual report, required under the federal Safe Drinking Water Act, will be mailed to utility customers starting in June and is also available online.
The latest report details extensive testing and monitoring carried out in 2024. According to the findings, Tulsa’s treated drinking water met — and in many cases exceeded — Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards.
The city’s water system remains free of harmful substances and bacteria, ensuring continued public health and safety.
“This report reflects the City’s ongoing commitment to providing clean, safe drinking water to everyone within Tulsa and the neighboring communities we serve,” said Eric Lee, Director of Water & Sewer.
Lee credited the city’s water utility workers with maintaining high standards across the system.
“Behind these results is a team of dedicated employees who work every day to protect public health and ensure reliability of our water system,” he said.
Tulsa’s drinking water is sourced from four lakes: Oologah, Spavinaw, Eucha, and Hudson. It is treated at two City-owned water treatment plants before reaching homes and businesses.
Water quality is monitored year-round, with a focus on preventing potential issues and maintaining compliance with all health-based standards.
