My 2 Cents: Miley Cyrus At VMAs 2013

Miley Cyrus's display on the MTV Video Music Awards last night had me going back through the My 2 Cents archives.

I vaguely remember being roundly criticized as a prude after writing this about her Vanity Fair photo shoot:

"She's 15 after all, she's going to make mistakes, this is one her parents and agent should have helped her avoid."

I said that on April 27th 2008... when Miley Cyrus was just starting to try to "dirty up" her squeaky clean Hannah Montana Disney Channel image.

And I finished by saying..."I wouldn't think there are many Miley Cyrus posters being down over this (The Vanity Fair shoot) but it will give parents pause."

After last night I can't think there are too many Miley Cyrus Posters still up.

It was so obvious what she was trying to do last night, it wasn't clever or subtle in any way, she acted like a spoiled brat, a "has been" starved for attention.

She was still that 15 year old up there trying to prove she's REALLY grown up now.

I feel for Mom's and Dad's who's little girls are still watching Hannah Montana reruns.. good luck explaining this one.

Haven't we seen this movie recently... I think Lindsay Lohan had the starring role.
