Mayes County deputies arrested a man and woman they say ran from police.
Deputies arrested Jacob Long and Tabitha Dudley, who took off after the pursuit ended.
Records show Jacob Long was just released from prison in March after serving six years for child abuse.
Deputies say they tried to pull over Long last night near Pryor, but he took off.
After a high-speed pursuit, Long misjudged a curve and tried to run, but deputies arrested him. They say Tabitha Dudley, his passenger, also tried to run but was caught as well.
Records show Long has been in and out of prison since 1999 for robbery, running from police, drugs, domestic assault and battery, and child abuse.
Records also show Long had just been charged Tuesday in Mayes County in a separate case for having a gun as a felon and possessing drugs.
